What happens if course closes due to weather?

The club will issue a “rained-out” voucher for you to return to the course at an arranged date. No further payments are necessary, and the game does not need to be rebooked.

Why do tee sheets close at different times for different golf courses?

This is down to the club’s preference and differs from course to course. Some courses are happy to allow last minute bookings (closing their tee sheets as late as 3 hours before teeing off, while others ask for a 48-hour window, allowing them a chance to sell unused times that are not booked by playmoregolf members. Most clubs work on a 24-hour deadline for bookings

What is the cancellation policy?

Tee times can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the tee time, some courses have requested for this to be 48 hours.

Why are some courses cart compulsory on playmoregolf, but the club isn’t cart compulsory?

In an attempt to add as much variety to our offering as possible for our members, some courses have made the addition of a cart necessary to keep the green fee low enough to allow our members on the course. This is a compromise we have had to make with certain clubs to allow our members to play at great subsidized rates.

What happens if a course does not have carts when making my booking?

Where carts are not a compulsory part of your playmoregolf booking, the course needs to be contacted prior to making the booking to reserve a cart with the club directly. playmoregolf cannot guarantee the availability of carts at any courses.

Why are there so little times on a Saturday (or Weekend)?

Saturdays (all day) and Sunday mornings are predominantly times allocated to the club’s members. Some clubs are willing to allocate tee times to playmoregolf members, should there be an excess, but this is not always the case.

Why are there times available at the club, but not on playmoregolf?

Golf clubs make certain predetermined tee-times each day available to playmoregolf members to book, and the rest of the tee sheet they keep for walk ins, visitors and members looking for a round. The club will always have their full tee sheet available to them and playmoregolf members need to book in our allocated slots.

Why are my credits for the following month removed when I make a booking in this month?

Credits are used from the month in which the game is played, not when the game was booked. Booking in the current month for a day in the current month, will use credits allocated to the current month. A booking made for a future month, will use credits from the following month’s allocation. This was done, due to the 30-day booking window, making credits available for the following month.
